Prerequisites:

There are no prerequisites for taking the MSP Foundation and Practitioner course. However,
the MSP Foundation Exam should be completed and passed before enrolling for the MSP
Practitioner examination.

Certification Details –

MSP Foundation Examination: Exam Format –

  • 60-minute long multiple-choice, 75 questions per paper with one point awarded per correct answer
  • 5 trial questions not counted in the scoring
  • 35 points out of 70 required to pass (50%)
  • Closed book

MSP Practitioner Examination: Exam Format –

  • 2 1/2 hours-long objective testing
  • 8 questions per paper
  • 40 points out of 80 required to pass (50%)
  • Open book, but only the official MSP manual can be used

MSP Advance Practitioner Examination: Exam Format –

  • 3 hours-long, essay-based
  • Up to three questions per paper, 75 points total
  • 38 points out of 75 required to pass (approximately 50 percent)
  • Open book (material in the form of course notes, examples, and copies of presentations
  • can be used during this examination but no electronic aids, such as laptops, may be used)

Dooey Course Completion Criteria –

  • Attend at least 85 percent of the course
  • Score at least 60 percent in any one of the course-end assessments
